The Karmason Library is a members-only resource named in honor of Dr. Marilyn G. Karmason, a founding member of the Majolica International Society and co-author of MAJOLICA: A Complete History and Illustrated Survey. The library is an online database containing more than 10,000 entries cataloging majolica forms of every type. It is searchable by manufacturer, designer, national origin, subject form and other keywords. Each entry includes extensive documentation about the piece and one or more high-resolution photographs showing greater detail than those on the public pages of the Majolica International Society website. It is the most comprehensive visual reference available for documentation and research about the myriad forms and styles of majolica.
